The Tavern on the Square is located next to the Westmount shopping
district of Greene Avenue, on the western edge of the downtown core of
Montreal. Nestled at the foot of the historic Westmount Square complex,
designed by famed architect Mies van der Rohe, the Tavern provides an
idyllic venue to enjoy fine food, wine and company.
The cuisine is seasonal, with a focus on daily Table d’Hôte inspired by
the freshest ingredients. The wine list is extensive, with a strong
selection of privately imported products. Service is professional, but
casual and friendly.
Whether people watching from our expansive garden terrace overlooking Ste.
Catherine, or enjoying the company of friends and family in our open dining
room, the Tavern on the Square is the place to be in Montreal’s west end.
Three hour indoor parking is free year round; the Westmount Square
underground parking may be accessed from Ste. Catherine.
