Age of Enlightenment & Cities of Light – Tijn and Kris Touber, Amsterdam

Tijn Touber ( 1960) is a musician, writer and teacher. Their debut album reached the first of the Top 100 albums, selling more than 100,000 pieces. Tijn writes including the title song for the movie Amsterdamned. After this musical adventure, he concentrates on developing awareness, travels to India seventeen times, is apprenticed to enlightened masters and lives fourteen years as an ascetic yogi in the heart of Amsterdam. During this period he gives courses at the Amsterdam police, offenders in prisons, nursing staff in hospitals (VU, AMC and MCA) and young people in the Netherlands. http://www.tijntouber.com/?subpage=11

Tjin Touber writes columns, interviews and writes articles (including in Stowe and Happinez). In j uni 2009 Crash course appears Lighting (bestseller), a year later Illuminated Life ( bestseller) and again a year later City Lights (an initiative to open up homes in the Netherlands for regular meditation). Meanwhile, living rooms 450 do with it. Tijn also gives regular master classes (including the secret of genius) to businesses and Silence Concerts with his partner Kris.

KRIS Touber is a writer, singer, dance therapist, yoga and meditation teacher.
In 1998 she discovered the power of silence during a Vipassana retreat in Thailand, led by Steve and Rosemary Weissman. Inspired by this couple, that Eastern spirituality as effectively translated to the modern Western life, exchanged Kris – back in Amsterdam – her modeling career for a modern yogi lives a few years.
